Coronavirus – Carbury Parish Masses Cancelled

We wish to advise that Bishop Denis has cancelled all Masses in the Diocese for this weekend, St Patrick’s Day and also next weekend. Therefore there will be no Masses in Derrinturn or Kilshanroe Churches on Saturday 14^th, Sunday 15^th, Tuesday 17^th, Saturday 21^st and Sunday 22^nd. Midweek Masses will continue as normal in both Churches. Both churches will be open for quiet prayer and reflection daily as usual. Funerals, baptisms & weddings can be held with a congregation of not more than 100 people.

Masses will be streamed live from Kilshanroe Church on the above dates (Saturdays at 7:30pm, Sundays at 11:00am, Vigil Mass Monday 16^th at 7:30pm & St Patrick’s Day at 11:00am) via webcam and we encourage all our parishioners to visit www.carburyparish.ie to access this service.

An Act of Spiritual Communion

My Jesus,
I believe that You
are present in the Most Holy Sacrament.
I love You above all things,
and I desire to receive You into my soul.
Since I cannot at this moment
receive You sacramentally,
come at least spiritually into my heart.
I embrace You as if You were already there and unite myself wholly to You.
Never permit me to be separated from You.
