Des passed away (peacefully) in the loving care of Lourdesville Nursing Home. Predeceased by his parents Mary-Ellen and John and his sister Marie. He will be deeply regretted and sadly missed by his loving family: sister Celine, brothers Noel and John, brother-in-law Joe, sister-in-law Pauline, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.

His Funeral Mass will take place on Friday at 11:00am in The Church of the Holy Family, Kilshanroe followed by cremation at Newlands Cross Crematorium at 1 pm. Peacefully at Park House Nursing Home Kilcock, surrounded by his loving family. Predeceased by his beloved wife Eileen. Greatly missed by his family; daughters Maryann, Bridget, Eileen and Pauline, son Gordon Jnr., sons-in-law Michael, Paul, Martin and Michael, daughter-in -law Michelle, grandchildren Paul, Laura, Martin, Ciara, Adam, Emma, Joshua, Alfie and Charlie.
