Bookings have been extended until 4th June for the Eucharistic Congress. You can now purchase a Special Events Ticket for €40. This includes admission to the Opening Ceremony in RDS on 10th June and Statio Orbis (Closing Mass) in Croke Park on 17th June. You may still purchase tickets for the Tuesday for our Diocesan Day in the Congress. These one day tickets are €35 or Senior Citizen/Students €30. We have limited space on the bus for both days. If anyone is interested in travelling please contact Fidelma 086 2603421 or parish office 046 9553355. Thank You to EVERYONE who covered the hours over our 40hr Adoration for the Congress. The Altar Cloth, which was made by all the schools in our Diocese added to the occasion. Our Mass, which concIuded the Adoration was very special and was attended by a large gathering.
Our Preparation Programme for the International Eucharistic Congress will take place between now and June 2012. It is mapped out in four stages, each with its own theme as we journey towards the great gathering. Each stage reflects on an aspect of the celebration of the Eucharist and the lifestyle it inspires, in the light of the overall Congress theme - The Eucharist: Communion with Christ and with one another.
