Carbury Parish Annual Pilgrimage to Knock will take place next week,
Sunday the 29th of July. In La Salette, Lourdes, Fatima, Guadalupe, Medjugorje, (Medjugorje is still undergoing scrutiny by Rome) Our Lady spoke to the visionaries. But in Knock Our Lady never spoke except by her presence. There was great economic hardship in Ireland so coming to the Irish people at that time meant more than a thousand words. Knock is the Confessional Capital of Ireland and is visited by thousands of people every year. Knock is to Ireland what Medjugorje is to the World. All of the shrines of Our Lady have a major impact on people’s lives. If you wish to travel to Knock, please hand your name into or call the Parish Office on 046 9553355, or via email [email protected] by Wednesday the25th of July at 1pm. Leaving Derrinturn Church at 8am on the morning and will stop for dinner on the way back.
