Carbury GAA Club was founded in 1925 but organised Gaelic games have been played in Carbury since the late nineteenth century. Since its establishment the club has grown steadily both in terms of its teams, membership and infrastructure and provides Gaelic football opportunities for men and women from four years of age to adulthood.
The men’s adult team is now firmly established in Kildare’s senior grade. Carbury GAA Clubhouse is located in the townland of Parsonstown just 2 minutes from the village of Derrinturn.
It has a large bar area with large LCD screen to watch all the major sports events on as well as a spacious hall that can be hired for events and functions.
